 My wife and I just spent our 10-day honeymoon vacation here and absolutely loved it. The space is beautiful, cozy, and most importantly PRIVATE. If you are a private person, this stay is for you. The cabin is on a very remote mountain path with the nearest neighbors out-of-sight. There is only one other property visible but its very far away in the mountain valley.
All the amenities were as-described and very clean and fun to use! The kitchen was well stocked with cooking tools, dishware, and utensils, and the outdoor grill/griddle was amazing.
The host was responsive and helpful throughout our entire stay and made for a wonderful and unforgettable honeymoon trip. 

 Very awesome experience! Beautiful inside and out, peaceful, secluded, private, everything you could ask for in a mountain side cabin. Shower was awesome. And the decorations really fit the place. Would highly recommend! Me and my Wife loved it! 

 Some places are memorable. This one changed our lives. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautiful and peaceful the property was. The cabin was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The views were incredible, the hot tub/sauna was a favorite, and every detail made the space feel warm, cozy, and welcoming.
Rob and Deb were fantastic throughout the entire process. Communication was quick, friendly, and helpful from booking to checkout. Even suggesting trails/restaurants. It was clear they genuinely care about their guests and take pride in creating a wonderful experience.
What made this trip even more memorable is that we got engaged during our stay! 💍🩷This cabin will forever hold a special place in our hearts as the setting of one of the most important moments of our lives. We truly couldn’t have imagined a more perfect backdrop for such a special occasion. 🌲⛰️

 Bigfoot Lair is beautiful, clean, and simply top notch. The view from the deck was absolutely lovely, especially with our morning coffee. Our daily walks on the Bigfoot trail were fun and adventurous.
We spent a few hours each day exploring the area. We went to the beautiful Watauga Lake, and we drove The Snake 😳. Spent time in the Cherokee National Forest and drove a little on the Blue Ridge Parkway with amazing mountain views.
At night we relaxed in the sauna and hot tub, followed by a nice time recapping the day by the firepit.
We can't think of a better way to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary ❤️ We'll have amazing memories forever.  Thank you hosts, Rob and Deb, for this lovely experience! This is truly a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ place and highly recommended!

We had an absolutely amazing time at Bigfoot's Lair! The house and grounds were completely spotless and so well maintained. The house is very well-appointed and had a great kitchen with tons of pans, pots, coffee maker, tea kettle, etc. all of the things we needed to cook at the house! The hosts provided instructions for how to use the big equipment (sauna, fire place) and it was super helpful. We explored Laurel Creek Falls and went into Mountain City town. Just a heads up the locally owned stores did seem to close very early! The communication from the hosts was amazing and the best experience I've ever had on Air BnB! They are truly so welcoming and I could tell they just wanted us to have the best visit possible. We so appreciated their friendliness and already booked a return visit!!
